Alright, after a little 'spear'mintin' I tried uploading it posterized @ 5 FPS.

Looks a little better.

5FPS is the winner, irregardless of file size. Hmph. Who woulda thunkit?

ARRRGH! The Aggravation Of Testing New Equipment!

So, I tested a new cr@ppy tripod just to see if the "fluid" pan head (I think they used burnt gritty oil from an iron train engine) would be good to rip off and mount to my DIY FigRig.

Yeah, the head is as fluid as a turtle with Parkinson's, but not only that, the little wiggly stick legs wobbled so bad in the light wind whatever I shot in a fixed position also wobbled on screen. (And I don't even know what to make of that crazy pixelation jazz going on!)

Thhp! Two hours of effort down the drain.

I need to get a better tripod even for my primary, anyways.

Maybe Santa...  will subscribe to Places Of Nature on YouTube?!
